About once / month I get a call from someone who wants me to sell supplements at our CrossFit gym. I always turn them away because I think the supplement concept is mostly misguided. When eating "lean meats, veggies, nuts, seeds, some fruit, little starch no sugar" we see incredible results because our bodies have what they need.

I was disappointed to hear a supplement commercial on this edition of CrossFit radio. I don't know how much they pay you for that ad but I'd be willing send some money your way if you will avoid this in the future. I don't want the people I train believing there is some sort of magical supplement they need when they should be focused on training hard, training in good form, and eating real food.

Yeah i agree totally. what could be better than what nature provides.
Train hard and eat Healthy..the money you would spend on supplements would be better spent on buying more equipment.

RSS feed anyone? Love the show. Like the others I did not care for the supplement bit but advertising is important revenue. The money people could save from supplements could be used to buy better equipment or better quality/healthier food.

The RSS feed for iTunes is here:

It's not really clear from this site though, hopefully someone can link to it with a little RSS icon to make it easier for other to subscribe to the podcast in the future.

Actually, it'd be nice if it was listed in the iTunes store itself (this is free).

The audio in this episode was the best so far. I put the hour long show on my ipod so my wife and I can listen to it on our hour long ride to church on Sunday mornings. She stays a week behind but I listen to it as soon as it is on the journal so I can answer questions that she might have. Crossfit has changed my life and I am anxious to have others sip the kool-aid. Keep up the great work!

sweet aaron, thanks the url, I was just about to ask for this.

As far as advertising for supplements goes, I am neither for nor against it. I do use a protien powder in breakfast shakes sometimes, i consider that a supplement.
