This is the 56th episode of CrossFit Radio, which aired at 6pm on Monday, April 13th, 2009.

Jenni Orr is a Level 2 Trainer and is on the training staff for HQ. She trains at BGI Fitness in Florida. She spoke about her background in dancing and as a cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins. She explained how that helped her by giving her a foundation of strength and fitness. She talked about the work out program that the NFL cheerleaders used to get into shape for their performances, and about how the changes that CrossFit made in her level of strength and fitness improved her dancing ability.

Jenni took 8th place finish at last year’s CrossFit Games, and she is training to do even better this year. She talked about her strengths and weaknesses in CrossFit, which CrossFitters she admires, and which ones she has to watch out for when it comes time to compete. She talked about her coaching, and how she has experimented to find what diet works best for her body.

Awesome work, Jenni!

I am only getting to this episode today after download, but I knew Jenni would make it fun.

I had the same experience, btw, with grip position and chest to bar pullups. If I'm holding the bar in the 'finger wrap' grip, it's almost impossible to get ctb. On the other hand, getting my knuckles above/even with the top of the bar makes it possible. It was nice to hear confirmation of that experience from your end.
