Great talking with you Justin. We simplified some billing code last week and updated gym pricing as well, because it's simpler to make some of the plans cheaper. We figured it was a win win scenario. Check out the pricing page. Also, if you have any questions feel free to shoot me off an email at moe@beyondthewhiteboard.com.

Hey JJ, Just did a 30 day paleo challenge and wanted to share the results with you and every one else here.

enough whoo haa, on to the numbers

day 1 3/1/10
weight:183lbs
naval measurement 35 1/2 inch
waist at hips 35inch

day 9 3/9/10
weight :184lbs
naval 33 1/2 inch
waist 33 2/3 inch

day 15 3/15/10
weight: 179
naval 33 1/2 inch
waist 33 2/3 inch

day 31 3/31/10
weight 173lbs
naval 32 1/2 inch
waist 33 inch

* all of these measurements were taken at the same time of day (in the morning) wearing the same clothes.

From these results I can see that 1. it takes about two weeks for your body to switch from burning carbs to fats ( my weight went up 1lbs in the 1st 9 days) as my carbs came from veggies (aside from 3 cheat days) and I added more fats ( avacados and good fats) 2. I put on some muscle 3. i lost a good amount of fat as my body compostion is a lot better.

If you dont believe me I don't blame you, you should try it your self! also I should mention I tracked my heart rate for this 30 days and didn't noticed a difference. I would measure my heart rate at waking up and the only changes I noticed were mostly due to how loud my alarm was. If my alarm was really loud my heart rate would be really high, if I woke up on my own it would be lower.

bottom line, I dont miss breads, I feel great, and I have a lot more energy.

JJ,
I am fairly new to the Crossfit program and to the concept of fitness as a sport. I am truly inspired by you stories and interviews with athletes and box owners. It seems that most of the subjects have extensive athletic backgrounds. I think it would be interesting to hear stories of former couch potatoes reaching competitive levels in the community.
As a deployed solder currently in Iraq, I thank you and the community for your support of the troops, it means a lot!
I would like to give a quick shout-out to Jim at Crossfit Havoc in Lawton Oklahoma!

Thanks
Rob B
