“Oh, God.”

Poor Brad Ludden. All he wants to do is paddle a kayak and swing a kettlebell, but sometimes being a big-shot pro athlete means you’re going to spend a little time in the public eye.

After a hesitant stint as Cosmopolitan’s hottest bachelor in 2008, Ludden used the prize money and visibility from what he described as a “national pie-throwing contest” to serve those less fortunate than him.

Ludden’s charity, First Decents, is “committed to curing young adults of the emotional effects of cancer and empowering them to regain control of their lives by experiencing whitewater kayaking and other challenging adventure sports in a safe, fun and supportive environment.”

In the final installment of his series, Ludden reveals his passion for charity and shares more info about the training regimen that keeps him on top of his game.
