Legacy athletes who have won the CrossFit Games and Top 5 finishers are invited back each year without having to go through the gauntlet of qualifying. For the rest of the competitors, getting back is a rough journey that gets more difficult every year. Join Sevan Matossian as he talks to Rebecca Voigt, seventh-place finisher in the 2010 CrossFit Games, about her upcoming route back to the big show.
Voigt keeps her competitive edge by working out alongside 2010 CrossFit Games champion Kristan Clever and other elite female competitors. While it seems like the female armada at Valley CrossFit could be intimidating to other CrossFitters, the community is in fact very supportive of them and proud of their strong women.
Find out more about Voigt’s Games experience and how female competitiveness creates an identity for her and her gym.

What an inspiring video! It's nice to know that the women of Valley CrossFit help each other be better every day.
I'm going to link this video on the CFNYC blog today--thanks, CFJ, for making this a free download.
