Leave your tights, weightlifting shoes and iPods at the door. In this camp, your name doesn’t go on the whiteboard. It goes on your plain white T-shirt.

This is SEALFIT’s Kokoro Camp.

“The idea is to just get them completely out of their comfort zone,” says SEALFIT founder Mark Divine.

On the line to accept that challenge are CrossFitters including Mikko Salo, Kristan Clever, Rob Orlando, Tommy Hackenbruck, Caity Henniger, Jimi Letchford and original firebreather Greg Amundson.

“We don’t just try to hurt these people physically; we teach them,” Divine says. “We teach them how to be mentally tough, teach them how to be leaders, how to be good team players, and we try through a crucible experience to elicit their warrior spirit.”

In Part 2, training takes the athletes to the beach for some full-body submersions, push-ups into the oncoming surf, partner drags and carries, and plenty of running. Can the crew make it through Day 1?

“Right now, all I’m thinking is that this is the warm-up and it hasn’t even gotten hard yet. That’s all I’m telling myself. It’s going to get worse,” Hackenbruck says.

Looks like fun to me, but then its a messed up type of crossfit fun right. Check out the grin on Rob Orlando's face when he's pressing that sandbag. That cracked me up:) I bet if that was a 100# keg he would be smiling even more. Nice work bro.

With all due respect to SealFit and the fact that it's looks like a hell of a weekend. There is SealFit and there is MikkoFit ! and can you believe Kris Clever, that is the emphasis of spirit! when she fell got up on her legs and continued to drag that guy. Being a champion is not only physical but lots of heart and there you have a textbook example of true champions.

Love it guys, keep it coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This video is way better than the first. Can't wait for the next.
I'm laughing watching Rob O. smile through the whole thing.
Mikko needs to carry someone at all times for this to be tough.
That slow-mo of Kristen diggin in and pullin through the sand..Nice.

I know that Coach likes to link character with Crossfit. I think this series is going to show there exists a direct relationship. We all comment about how the crossfit community is filled with good people, but the people who rise to the top appear to have a character base that is rock solid. Like the Seals, you can't get to the top of this community without it. The Seals are looking to expose weakness of character and resolve. I'm wathing with great interest to see if they can break our all-stars. Short of a broken limb, my money is on NO!

They want to beat Mikko down sooo bad. Isn't gonna happen.

Awesome video. Aside from the individual outstanding efforts, you can see and hear the groups coming together as teams. I really look forward to the rest of this series!

was the audio not synced up for anyone else? I would get the voices and then their mouths would move. That aside, mega props to them, I won't be signing up for this anytime soon.

im getting flashbacks of J Robinson Wrestling camps here, awesome work BSmit and everyone else!

OK with the overhead press exercises.. It seems to payoff to not lockout at the top. I hate it that during a test someone who is trying there darndest to hit the prescribed form is screwed!

All of you are so BAD ASS! LOVE it! Especially Rob O. flashing those pearly whites all the time haha. Kristan, you exemplify the warrior spirit, love the attitude. Poor Mikko, did so well they kept picking on you.

more footage please

Great vid. The instructors had obviously never seen Mikko before, if they had they would have known better...'pain'... music to his ears!
Keep these type of videos coming please!

Stop the video for about 10s to let the Flash player re-sync the audio. It is normal for Flash to have this problem once in awhile.

This was the experience of a lifetime! Everyone pulled together and there were lots of moments without smiles... It was really really HARD and took perseverance... Kokoro (unbreakable spirit) is the perfect name for this camp... Kokoro 12 went down in history... If you wanrt to test yourself, it is a must...
