Jeff Martin describes a workout/game for young CrossFit athletes.

Medicine-ball shuttle runs were originally used as a WOD in the CrossFit Kids Teen classes. When it was introduced to the Kids class (5-to-12-year-olds), they asked to continue doing it rather than switching to a game.

A slightly scaled-down version of the workout was recently used in the CrossFit Kids area at the Arnold Sports Festival. Whether the kids were gymnasts, CrossFitters or little ones tagging along with their parents, the game was a hit all around.

Cool - a simple idea, but one that I can use with my HS kids in S+C class on a "conditioning" day. Really, not a bad warm up either, for a shorter period of time.
