After surviving SEALFIT’s Kokoro Camp, Greg Amundson outlines a leadership model based on the physical modalities of CrossFit training.
“I’m leaving on a jet plane. Don’t know .”
Lying on our backs, covered in wet sand, our heads pointing towards the ocean in the middle of the night, a large wave crashed over Tommy Hackenbruck and me, pulling us deeper into the frigid Pacific waters. As soon as we resurfaced, Tommy and I re-locked arms and continued in harmony, “Don’t know when I’ll be back again!”
I was freezing cold, hungry, tired, chafed from sand drills and incredibly sore, and I faced the dark truth that I had over 30 more hours of torment ahead of me. However, as Tommy and I sang our favorite John Denver song at the top of our lungs, there was nowhere I would have rather been than at Kokoro Camp No. 12.

I am always really excited anytime Greg A. posts a video or article. His motivational techniques and the way he can inspire are second to none. I am always fired up after reading or listening to him, and that's just from sitting in front of my computer! I really hope to attend one of his seminars someday.
Greg, if you read this, I'd also like to thank you for the "Greg A. Warm-up" video -- I still use it before every workout.

Guys - if you ever have the opportunity to attend Greg's Goal Setting Seminar, HOLY S**T, DO IT!!!
I hosted one at my gym and had 75% of my athletes attend, those who didn't attend were competing that saturday
Greg fired everyone up not just for the moment, but LONG term.
Keep in mind, these were 14-17 year old kids learning from Greg and man have they become much more mentally tough compared to ever before
We also had some D1 Wrestlers in the room and a D1 Wrestling Coach - they LOVED it.
Greg is the man and it was an honor to finally meet him and learn from him.
He changed lives that day, don't miss out!

I almost didn't read this article. And it seems to me by the lack of comments, that many others didn't read it. That's really too bad for them. While I have always tried to lead by my example, Greg has really inspired and motivated me to make sure that that is always the case. Fantastic! Thank you! :)
One of my favorite quotes, not sure of the author.... "Example isn't the most important thing influencing others. It's the only thing."
