At the 2011 Reebok CrossFit Games, CrossFit founder and CEO Greg Glassman sat down with Fast Company Magazine to talk about CrossFit.
In this video, Glassman describes the philosophy of CrossFit.
“I think it’s the belief in the improvability of ourselves and each other—that you can make yourself better,” he says. “You can decide for yourself what better is.”
Coach says, “What we’re finding is that across the board, good nutrition, good exercise, improved lifestyle choices make everything that’s critical to your well-being better.”
Glassman says that CrossFit and its success are not dependent on any one gym but rather on its coaches.
“The clients will go wherever the trainer is,” he says.

When I was a graduate student many years ago, we had to read "the structure of the Scientific Revolution," by Thomas Kuhn. The catalyst of "a" revolution was a paradigm shift that sees things from a different perspective. That is what CF has done in the world of fitness and well being. Thanks for these interviews and other journal contributions.

Greg Glassman needs to do a "CrossFit Bus Tour", visiting boxes across the nation! You can crash at my place when you swing through Springfield, Illinois. How 'bout it, Greg?
