05:19 Ingrid Kantola was featured on the show a little over two years ago just after she won the Southern California Sectional. She came on this week’s show to update listeners on the last two years of her life. Incredibly, she has had open-heart surgery, and she explained how she had to be patient and smart with her recovery. She’s moved to Austin, Texas, to start a master’s program and talked about what it’s like to train with the women from CrossFit Central. Kantola gave her impressions of the South Central Regional, in which she finished fifth overall.
28:16 Bryan Diaz secured his chance to compete with the world’s fittest at the Home Depot Center by winning the South Central Regional on April 29. He spoke about his training and described how things have improved since he started working with his coach, Brian MacKenzie. Diaz gave his opinion on why so many well-known competitors are turning to coaches and explained what the next two months of training will look like leading into the Games.

Justin,
I think this might be my first WOW that I've tried. I liked it and it was a nice mix of movements, and good time domain and I haven't done either box jumps or wallballs in a while so this was the WOD I selected last night.
I got the same results for both the 1st & 2nd working sessions.
I got 8 complete + 7 of the first exercise (chest to bar pullups for the 1st session & 7 med ball pushups for the 2nd session) I used smaller firmer slam balls, since the range of motion would be greater and I would have my hands tighter together to really tax my shoulders and triceps in a different way. This was a good way to pretax the shoulders and triceps for the wallball pushing portion overhead. I tried to concentate on keeping a tight midline and to really focus on trying to get my legs to drive most of the ball and to get some explosion with my legs to minimize the shoulders getting too worn out over 7 minutes. I am pretty sure that I actually got 9 complete + 7 for the second session, but since I'm not positive, I scored it as 8 +7, since that I'm positive about.
Good WOD, fun, fast and a nice change of pace for me.
Regards,
