4:30 Julie Foucher placed second at the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games. She explained how she’s been able to improve her fitness while in medical school, and she talked about why she was confident heading into the Games this year. Foucher placed fifth at the last two CrossFit Games, and she explained how she made the jump to second in 2012. Finally, she gave her thoughts on the entire CrossFit Games season including the Open and Regionals.
27:47 Matt Chan also placed second at the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games. He described what it meant to him to stand on the podium after missing it for so long. He talked about his favorite events and the one that hurt the most, and he explained the strategies he used for some of the workouts. Chan explained what he did to recover during the four days of competition and said having a coach has changed everything for him. Moving on to his affiliate, CrossFit Verve, Chan explained how he programs strength for regular clients and people who want to compete, and he described how that programming differs.
