1. Acknowledge the tension; don’t ignore it.
2. Call it what it is: “ego depletion.”
3. Understand ego depletion.
4. Include and consider the moral implications.
5. Evade ego depletion.
6. Know thyself.

7:10 Jeremy Jones came on the show to talk about Diablo CrossFit’s experience at the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games. The team placed third, and Jones talked about how satisfying it was to be on the podium after missing the final day last year by one point. He described what it was like to be in the stadium for the final Girls workout, and he introduced Diablo’s team members. Jones talked about the community at the box and the depth of the competitive athletes at Diablo. He detailed how he programs his workouts and shared what seven years of planning WODs has taught him. He explained what he looks for in recorded workout results to help him program future WODs, and he described his competitor’s class and the box’s Firebreather workouts. Turning to romance, Jones explained why a trainer has to pay for an athlete’s yearly membership if the two start dating.

Great interview both JJ's!
I am one of the lucky ones that get to be coached by Jeremy(JJ)Jones. His programming and dedication to the sport of CF shine with athletes like myself. I was just your average girl who used to run like a hamster on a treadmill, eat a burrito and drink a beer for dinner. Never would I imagine placing in the top 10 two years in a row and standing on the podium at the CrossFit Games. When you put in the work and follow his lead, the plan works. I have seen it over and over in our community. Jeremy Jones and Craig Howard have built a community that will lead you to a lifetime of fun, health and to be fit beyond your expectations! Thank you Diablo CrossFit for changing my life.
