Lindsey Smith is a CrossFit Level 1 Seminar Staff member, P.E.-department chair and athletic director at the Columbus School for Girls in Ohio, a wife, mom to a 4-year-old, and a CrossFit Games competitor.

“I honesty just wake up every day and I’m like, ‘OK, here we go: let’s see what we got,’” she says of her busy schedule. “One day, one minute, one hour at a time.”

Smith adds that she wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I love every component of my life too much to let any aspect of it go,” she explains.

Sometimes she trains before heading to work, other times she works out at 10 o’clock at night.

“I just want to be better,” explains 30-year-old Smith, who finished 21st at this year’s Games. “And I want to continue to be a part of it. I will fight my bloody heart out to be there again.”

Lindsey you are a inspiration to all of us mom's and coaches out there!Getting ready to open my CrossFit gym and having 2 kids and going back to work full time can be overwhelming but watching you balance it all gives me the confidence that I can reach for my dreams! Thank you for your story, one minute, one hour, one day at a time! Love it!

It is always amazing to watch her work. She lives her life in a way that makes it impossible to say, "I don't have time for this or I don't have time for that." She proves that you always have time and her game has certainly improved since beginning CrossFit in our garage in 2008.
