In five years, CrossFit Apex has moved as many times.
“We’ve learned what we really wanted in a box, and we learned what works and kind of what doesn’t work,” says co-owner Tanya Wagner, 2009 CrossFit Games champion. “So for this location, really we knew we wanted to be able to run two classes at the same time.”
Gone are the days when teenagers had long waits while their parents finished a workout.
“Nobody’s waiting for more than a half an hour,” Wagner says.
The 7,400-square-foot facility in Souderton, Pa., is more than triple the size of CrossFit Apex’s previous space, and it has a 40-foot pull-up rig roomy enough for about 50 people to work simultaneously. Tanya, along with co-owner and husband Josh, hope to further expand into a remaining 3,600-square-foot section of the same building.
Brian Offner, a CrossFit Apex member of more than two years, says he’s proud that his home box is among the largest he’s visited.
“I tell people, ‘If you wanna go somewhere and get the best workout you ever got with the coolest people (you’ll) ever meet, it’s the place for you,’” he says.

Awesome facility! I've been a big fan of Tanya since she won the Games because she (and Mikko) won it the year I started CF, and I have only ever heard great things about Josh. Looks like i'm going to have to make a trip to PA!
