On Episode 303 of CrossFit Radio, host Justin Judkins interviewed potential burpee world record holder Lloyd Weema, as well as two-time CrossFit Games athlete Chad Mackay. This episode was webcast on Nov. 6, 2013.

3:26 Lloyd Weema recently completed 9,480 burpees in 72 hours. Once his video of the feat is approved, he will own the burpee record on two sites that track such accomplishments. Weema spoke about researching the old record and how he paced himself during his attempt, and he explained how his body felt after completing almost 10,000 burpees in three days.

13:42 Chad Mackay placed ninth at the CrossFit Games in 2012 and then followed that performance with an 11th-place finish in 2013. He recently helped Team World defeat Team USA in the CrossFit Invitational. Mackay described the Berlin event and the strategies his team used to defeat the highly favored Team USA, and he talked about his own training and his personal strengths and weaknesses. During the Lightning Round, Mackay answered a variety of questions about topics ranging from his latest PRs to his views on performance-enhancing drugs.
