She explained how important a website is to the growth of an affiliate and why it’s not always a good idea for gym owners to design and create their own sites. Alverson also talked about how gyms can set themselves apart from the competition, and she says it’s important to view business mistakes as learning experiences. An athlete who has competed in four editions of the CrossFit Games, Alverson shared her views on the competitive side of CrossFit and how competitors are able to surpass previous elite levels of performance. As a top athlete and affiliate owner, Alverson offered advice to those who want to compete at the highest levels but also have other obligations, such as a full-time job or a small business to run.
