You’ll meet a fan from Australia who has only been doing CrossFit for four months but got on a plane to see five past Games champions compete head-to-head in California.
“The only event that I get to see in Australia is the Regionals, so I never get to see the American athletes, and I’m very fond of them,” explains Narayanan Krishnan.

Also in line is Alessandra Pichelli, who placed fourth at last year’s CrossFit Games and was a featured athlete when Workout 14.3 was announced in New Orleans, La., on March 13.
Meanwhile, countless fans take photos with Games host Rory McKernan. It’s odd, McKernan says, given that he himself felt like a groupie the first time he helped instruct a CrossFit Level 1 Certificate Course years ago.
“(Adrian Bozman) was my CrossFit celebrity. And Greg Amundson. The first time that I worked a seminar and Greg Amundson was there, I was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s Greg Amundson.’”
