1:40 Winning the South East Regional gave Emily Bridgers a confidence boost going into the CrossFit Games. She talked about competing at the regional and she said she’ll use her experience in the 2013 Affiliate Cup competition to help her as an individual at the Games this year. Bridgers explained why she wanted to fly solo in 2014 and gave her thoughts on the Games events that have been announced. With reference to her strengths and weaknesses, Bridgers talked about her hopes for the unannounced events.
14:43 Jerry Hill finished first in the 45-49 Division of the Masters Qualifier and said he’s more prepared this year than he was last year, when he finished sixth at the Games. Hill has been doing CrossFit for 10 years and spoke about the ups and downs of training over a decade, and he detailed his last year of work in hopes of getting on the podium at the Games. The owner of CrossFit Oldtown in Virginia, Hill does his workouts in the regular group classes because he likes training alongside all the other members.
